The spark of The Artama Legend begins with a revolutionary idea: a young boy’s defiance of conformity in pursuit of truth. Artama lives in a Town governed by The Readers’ doctrines, yet challenges the status quo and crosses The Plain, meeting Kora and returning with knowledge and wisdom.
Bruce Paul’s studies in philosophy and creative writing, along with his diverse life as a singer-songwriter, teacher, taxi driver, prison counselor, investment advisor, real estate developer, and riverboat bartender, mirror Artama’s transformative journeys.
As the series progresses, Artama’s quests grow cosmic through portals and battles against darkness. The saga blends parable-like simplicity with epic speculation, quantum mysteries, interdimensional travel, and the illusion of reality.
